BBS Structural Glazing Ltd recently supplied 8 No electric opening rooflight modules to Wedge Roofing, Dudley for fitting at Gornal Crematorium, Dudley.

The crematorium was experiencing excessive heat build up within the building due to the original rooflights (shown in white on the 1st picture) being non-opening. The plan going forward is to eventually replace all existing units with the BBS ventilating glass units (shown in grey).

The rooflighs were glazed with DGU’s comprising 6mm clear toughened outer, 16mm argon filled cavity and 6.4mm Low-E laminate inner leaf and were fitted with 230v chain drive actuators.
