BBS designed, manufactured and installed a 20.0m long duo-pitch open sided walkway at Dyson Perrins school in 2005. The walkway was part of a scheme where BBS also installed lean-to covered glazing within an enclosed quadrangle, the new covered ways now allow the pupils to access classrooms, main hall and reception area under complete cover.
A view of the walkway from a different angle.
View of the lean-to structural glazing within the quadrangle, the walkway is aluminium framed with clear toughened glass incorporating opening lights to the vertical glazing, finished with opaque insulated panels to the mono-pitch roof section, this to keep the corridor cool.
